Beware

I haven't had a chance to speak with this guy yet, he gives off these vibes that tell me to be careful around him. I need to give him some space for now and just let him get comfortable with me being there.
In this picture you can see that people are oblivious to the homeless, they walk by him everyday just like they walk by the trash can behind him.
He is just something that has been left out of our live's, even thoe he is very much apart of our life.

Hopelessness

This is Anthony, he lives on the street's in Indianapolis, Indiana and I have been given the privilege by Anthony, to take his picture and speak with him. He has agreed to let me tell his story. Next week Anthony and I are going to sit down, eat some lunch and talk about why he has been on the street for almost six years.

Best Friends

He's the best friend I ever had, always faithful, always waiting to be loved, he's beautiful, magnificent and a powerful runner.
He was the last pup in the litter, the runt, the one nobody wanted and I was working on the other side of the state as a favor for a friend. Our meeting by chance or ordained? His owner was gona knock him in the head with a hammer when I showed up but I couldn't let him. Roscoe was a runt with a tiny body that had some of the longest leggs I ever saw on a dog. His legs where so long that he fell down alot or fell into a stumbling roll when he ran. So I took him off of Bill the butcher's hands and we been together ever sence.
Some people say that he know's that I saved his life that day, and that would explain why he loves me so much!

Work the ground

Work the ground you stand on, even if it is just a small plot. We have become so dependent to industry that we have forgotten where our food comes from. My garden this year is about a one acre plot. Our hope is that we can store up enough veggies to last us a year, that will make us independent of industry and then we will be even more Green. If we the people would just take a stand to stop being dependant on the Oil industry in every little way we can then, when all of our little ways add up together, put the Oil company's where they belong. They will become dependant upon us and they will stop profiting, let me say that again, PROFITING billions of dollars every quarter! We the people can stop this by being careful about the little things; the little things will always be the source of what will make us or break us.
Do you want to be wealthy? Then be content with what you have, look to God for what he has given you and love you neighbour as you love yourself. Learn to be concerned about someone else around you. All you have to do is look around you and you will find that there is someone that you can help, there is someone around you that needs you and you can make a difference in their life. You can wash their car, mow their lawn, clean their flower beds, just take time to look into their life and you will see what you can do to help. Jesus said, "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?" this means that if you care for the people out side of your circle of family and friends as well as those inside of the circle you will grow even more wealthy with friends and family. That my friend is independence and wealth!
Always mind the little things in life no matter what they are or who they are, be an example to those around you.

This Hour

It is time to start letting people see this poem, I am satisfied with it and am ready to let the world into my reality. If we choose, we can wast our life and not even know what is happening.
Take a good look at yourself..., spend some time Alone in the Dark. The title of this poem is; "This hour"

This hour roll’s into a moment that seems to hesitate for a second...
Then this moment fades into the past…
It is lost forever… lost in a memory forgotten.

The heart suffers from the burden of love not returned…
The yearning… the yearning to be loved…
Drives the heart slowly into a state of regret…

And then…

Moments scrape against time like a nail on slate….
And shadows turn on dark walls…
Force a man to see his soul, it does!
Their within, he sees the edge…
And the shadow moves his heart to the very edge of a breath,
Where it fades into the past
Exhaled into the memory forgotten…

Run… Jump… Hide… fall from grace if you choose…
Just walk away; he will not force you to stay!
You are caught in this world of chaos…
Looking for your shadow… in this dark room you stand.

Will you stand this hour?

Alone with Him

This is day 2 of 365. Very low light and slightly blurred black & white.

When we are alone, we are either alone with our self or we are alone with God. Life is but a breath, if you are not careful, you will find yourself at the end of you day's wondering where it all went. I have learned that one can be consistent in detail and yet still have the time to stop to smell the rose's.

We have each day to show someone that they are loved, if you wait to long it will be too late. Have you loved someone today by doing something that would relieve their busy schedule or washed the dishes for your wife, cleaned the house?

It is our deeds not our words that is the proof of our love for someone else or someone elses love for us. The greatest act of love ever to be witnessed was when Jesus gave up his life for me, he died on the cross for my sins, it was personal, he loves me that much. No mater how much I disapoint him, miss the mark, he still loves me.

When I am Alone in the Dark, I am alone with him. I will lift up my hands to praise him, I will humble my face before him. I am because he is!
